What we collect on this website
- Visit counts without cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics records page views, referring site, country and device type. It sets no cookies and does not identify you.
- Analytics cookies, only with your consent. If you accept, we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see which pages are read, how people move through the site and where they leave. Clarity may record anonymised page interactions such as clicks and scrolls. You can change your choice any time with Cookie settings.
- What you send us. If you request a Market Brief or email us, we keep your name, company, work email and what you tell us about your business.
Why we use it
To reply to you, prepare what you asked for, and improve the website. Our lawful bases are your consent (analytics cookies) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
The business data in our service
Our Prospect Desks contain business contact details published by companies themselves, each recorded with its source. We do not guess personal email addresses or numbers, we skip sites that refuse access, and our clients, not we, decide whether to make contact. Anyone listed can ask us to remove or correct their details at hello@infocusintel.com.
Sharing
We never sell personal information. We use service providers to host and run the site (Cloudflare, Google, Microsoft), which may process data outside South Africa under appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Enquiries: up to three years after our last contact. Analytics: as set by each provider, up to 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to its use, or withdraw consent. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to South Africa's Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za) or your local data protection authority.
